Affiliation Information
On September 25, 2022, after a period of discernment and prayer, the membership of KUMC voted to join the Global Methodist Church and disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church. Effective January 1st, 2023, we will be a Global Methodist Church.
We will join over 220 churches in the newly formed Eastern Texas Provisional Conference of the Global Methodist Church. The convening Conference (inaugural conference) of the Eastern Texas Conference will be February 2nd-4th, 2023.
