A PLACE FOR YOU TO BELONG

At Kingwood Methodist, we don’t just say there’s more to life, we believe it!

Advent Workshop

Sunday, December 3rd | 5:00-7:00pm | the Commons

Fun for all ages! Meet in the Sanctuary for a special retelling of the birth of Jesus using balloons. Afterward, we’ll move to the Commons for fun crafts, cookie decorating, and pizza for $1 a slice. Our mission room will also be open for families to serve together.

Candles and Carols: A Christmas Cantata

Sunday, December 10th | 9:30 & 11:00am services | the Sanctuary

Join us for Candles and Carols, a cantata by Mark Hayes and presented by the Chancel Choir with a chamber orchestra. The work is an intimate, participatory experience for both choir and congregation, featuring very familiar carols celebrating the traditional Advent themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. With readings by clergy and lay members of KMC, this musical time of worship will be something the whole family will enjoy. Join us at 9:30 and 11:00am in the Sanctuary.

Mix and Mingle with a Little Jingle

Wednesday, December 13th | 6:00pm | the Vine Space

This Christmas season, we invite women to gather for food, fellowship and carol singing! You will be grouped by age to meet others in similar seasons of life. We are partnering with Society of St Stephen and asking for donations of feminine hygiene products and baby diapers (sizes 4, 5 and 6). Please sign up to bring a dessert or appetizer. Childcare is available with registration.
