More to Marriage

Sunday, June 4th | 4:00pm | E200/201

Marriages thrive when God is first in the hearts of both the husband and wife. Join us on Sunday, June 4th, at 4:00pm in E200 for our next More to Marriage session on prayer. We will discuss how we can seek God first and then each other to develop into the spouse God intends us to be. Please call the church office if you need childcare.

Middle School Camp

June 6th – June 10th | Trinity Pines Conference

From June 6th to June 10th, our 6th-grade through 8th-grade students will join Woodridge Baptist Church and a few other churches at Trinity Pines Conference for a Middle School Student Camp. Worship will be led by Zeal House Worship, and Dr. Matt Hill from FBC Forney will be our camp pastor. This camp will be rich in biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, and fun activities! Healing and Prayer Service

Sunday, June 11th | 6:00-7:30pm | the Loft

Are you or someone you know hurting? It doesn’t matter if the hurt is physical or emotional. God wants to be with us on the journey to help heal from all types of hurt. This month, we will be in the Loft and focus on prayers for children and youth.

Vacation Bible School

June 12th-16th

We have reached the maximum capacity for entering Kinder through 3rd-grade groups for Vacation Bible School. From now on, we can only register a child if an adult can also volunteer. This is to ensure we have a safe adult/teacher ratio. If you would like to volunteer, please email whitney.parrish@kingwoodmethodist.org

Our coinciding mission-based program that week is Mission Madness for completed 4th and 5th graders. This program currently has space available, so you do not have to volunteer to register a child. However, that could change depending on our numbers. Notification will be provided at that time. If you have a completed 4th and/or 5th grader and would like to register, please email Karen Soliz with contact information and if your child has any allergies at karen.soliz@kingwoodmethodist.org.

Feed My Lambs- Young Families Service Day

Thursday, June 22nd | 10:00am – 12:00pm | The Fellowship Hall

Meet us in the fellowship hall at 10:00am to help prepare lunches.  We will then caravan over to the White Oaks Apartment Complex to deliver the lunches to residents there.  This is a great opportunity to serve others as a family.

 June 18th-24th

U.M. ARMY workcamps provide exterior home repairs to those who are in need of assistance. The focus of the camps is to serve others in the name of the Lord, to foster Christian fellowship, and to have time to worship together. Students are divided into work teams and have two adult leaders to guide them and supervise the work on clients’ homes. Host churches provide lodging.
