KMC Children’s Ministry

Preparing the Next Generation

At Kingwood Methodist, we love kids! Every week your child will learn Biblical truth through engaging stories and activities as they are challenged to trust and follow God in their everyday lives. Whether your kids are participating online or in-person, they’ll always hear a great message that points them towards Jesus!

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

Nursery - 2 Years & Under

Check-in and check-out will be at the desk near the fish tank near the School for Little Children offices. A nursery runner will take your child to and from the classroom.

Please have a diaper, cup/bottle, snack, and change of clothes in a plastic bag with your child’s name on the bag and everything in it. Diaper bags and backpacks are not allowed in the room. It is best not to bring any toys from home.

Your child can be picked up in the same place where they were dropped off. A helper will bring them out to greet you.

3 Years - 2nd Grade

Check-in at the Oasis desk across from the School for Little Children offices. A teacher/helper will take your child to their classroom.

Parents can pick up their children at their classroom after class. Room numbers for each class will be available when signing in.

Children’s Church – 11:00am

Children’s Church is offered in both the Sanctuary and The Vine. Children start out with family and are dismissed right before the sermon.  K-2nd grade only.

3rd - 5th Grade

Check-in at the Oasis desk across from the School for Little Children offices. A teacher/helper will take your child to their classroom.

If parents sign the self-release at sign-in, your child may leave when class is over. Please be sure to determine where you will meet them after class. If you do not want your child/children to self-release, you can pick them up at their classroom.

Sunday School Teachers

Every Sunday morning, we have the privilege of teaching the next generation of Jesus followers. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
