In advent, God draws near to us. He unDistances himself from us. Even in our moment of greatest longing and hears our cries.

We live In a world where we are acutely aware of our distance from one another yet are entering a season where we are meant to draw near. The concept of Christ drawing near in the incarnation is profound. Today we distance because of a disease, yet Christ draws near despite and even inspired by our disease, sin. The word of God is made flesh in the incarnation is good news for us, especially today.
