Doing Justice, Loving Mercy, Walking Humbly with Our God
Micah 6:8
If you have a passion for serving others and being part of something bigger than yourself, join with KMC in supporting missions at home and abroad!
Monthly Missions Opportunities
Each month, the missions committee brings a ministry to the congregation’s attention to support. We prayerfully choose organizations in need of funding that will also provide service opportunities through which we can experience and share the love of Christ.
September Monthly Mission Opportunity: Neighbors Ministry
This month, we are casting a vision for what it would look like if we as a church took neighboring seriously. What if we intentionally and relationally engaged in ministry with our block here in Trailwood Village?
Our first step in accomplishing this vision is to develop a “Neighbors Ministry Team.” The commitment at this point is to gather people and begin to pray, dream, and lay the foundation for what this might look like for our church. This will not happen overnight but will result from intentional, relational, and faithful action over many seasons. Any funds we raise for this MMO will go toward ministry to the Neighborhood for outreach and to help steward ministry for the block.

God is leading us to help start an apprenticeship program in wood and metalworking so that locals can be discipled in Christ while being equipped for a sustainable future. The project is estimated to cost $20,000 to build and equip the shop. We will take a team to Tanzania in August to help erect the structure and bless the space and ministry that will fill the space.
