Adult Classes

Prayer Study

Wednesdays | 6:00-7:15pm | E206

We often measure our relationships by how well we communicate with a person. Can you call them anytime? Do you understand each other, even when the words don’t come out right? How often do you reach out to them? The closest people in our lives are usually the ones we see often and talk to regularly. The same can be said for our relationship with God, yet often we approach prayer as this daunting task. Unlike our human relationships, God doesn’t make it awkward for us, He’s eager for us to open up and communicate with Him. Come join us as we use Pete Greig’s book “How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People” to establish or even re-establish regular and open conversations with God. He’s ready and waiting. For more information, please contact Kimberly Watson.

Revelation Study

Wednesdays | 6:00-7:15pm | E208

The Book of Revelation is one of the most influential and misunderstood books in the Bible. Are we in the end of days? If we read the signs and symbols correctly, can we predict the end of the world? As we dive into John’s apocalyptic revelation through a new lens, we will seek to understand the purpose of the book, who it was written to, and what it means for us today. For more information, please contact Rev. Clint Wyllie.

The Virtual Holy Land Tour

Wednesdays | 6:00-7:15pm | E201

In 2024, Dr. Palmer will be leading a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This class is designed for those who would like to virtually go on the trip by seeing the study guide and pictures that walk participants through sites of the Holy Land. From Galilee to Jerusalem and Jericho to Caesarea Philippi, we will walk the footsteps of Jesus. Click here to view the full schedule for this class. For more information, please contact Dr. Burt Palmer.

Women’s Bible Study

Wednesdays | 6:00-7:15pm | E207

This semester’s study will be Broken and Blessed by Jessica LaGrone – Every family since the beginning of time has been both broken and blessed. This study takes us on a journey through Genesis, a book that tells the story of one perfectly imperfect family-from Adam and Eve, all the way to Joseph and his brothers. Despite their brokenness, God chose to love and bless this family so that their blessings might overflow. God worked for good in their lives for the good of the world, and God wants to do the same in our own imperfect families. Bringing blessing from brokenness. Whether you’re single, married, or divorced, with or without children or grandchildren, you are an important part of God’s family meant to bless the world. For more information, please contact Rev. Stacey Sweet.

Chancel Choir

Wednesdays | 7:00-8:30pm | Choir Room
