Adult Classes

What Does That Look Like? (Women’s Study)

This is a comprehensive Christian study on forgiveness, repentance, and reconciliation, rooted in scripture and offering practical, step-by-step guidance. Dr. Grace Scheufler, an experienced educator and author, has developed this material over two decades. It covers emotional aspects, the process of forgiveness, the importance of genuine repentance, and the complexities of reconciliation, with the flexibility to address specific audience needs, including emotional abuse, anger management, active listening, conflict resolution, and boundaries.

John Wesley: Sermons for Today

In this 10-week class led by Rev Burt and Clint, we will be reading 10 of John Wesley’s most significant sermons/writings.  If we are going to call ourselves Wesleyan in how we understand doctrine and the practice of our faith, we ought to know what he said and believed.  Let’s dive into these hard-hitting sermons and digest what they might mean for us today.  You will be provided a printout of the sermons we are covering and a link to an audio version of each for your devotional reading.

The Class Meeting

If you are interested in being a part of a small group or want to learn more about the Wesleyan approach to Class Meetings, join us on Wednesday nights following the Table. We will look at Watson’s book as it unfolds a vision and a practical strategy for developing small groups that are much simpler than the typical group while being more productive and with greater spiritual depth. The Class Meeting is structured into an eight-week study resource designed for a small group to work through together. Along the way, our group will be progressively equipped with a shared language to talk about the work of the Holy Spirit in the inner person and a structure for holding these kinds of meetings. After eight weeks, the book is laid aside, and the class meeting is born.

Chancel Choir

Wednesdays | 7:00-8:30pm | Choir Room

Our Chancel Choir leads the congregation in song at Sunday morning services August-June each year. Led by Matt Robinson, the Chancel Choir sings as an intentional unit with a goal of achieving a high level of musical expression and singing choral music of all genres and styles. All singers of at least high school age are welcome. We sing two Sundays per month and sing at both Sunday traditional worship services. Our Men’s Ensemble meets following Chancel Choir. For more information, please contact Matt Robinson.
